Poppy Behrens is the Publisher of Modern Storage Media (MSM). Formerly Mini-Storage Messenger/MiniCo Publishing, MSM is a media company that produces self-storage-specific media and publications. As Publisher, Poppy oversees the planning, management, and execution of multiple print and digital projects that inform, educate, and connect self-storage professionals around the world.
MSM publications include its flagship magazine, Messenger, as well as the annual Self-Storage Almanac, Self-Storage Canada, Self-Storage Now, the Development Handbook, and the RV & Boat Development Handbook.
Since joining MiniCo in 2000, Poppy has been actively involved in the self-storage community through service. A long-time member of the AZSA Board of Directors, she currently serves as Chair of AZSA's Conference and Trade Show Committee.
Her specialties include publication planning and management, editorial planning, special project management, writing, and editing. Prior to joining MiniCo, she was the Associate Editor of Newport Beach 714 magazine and has worked as a freelance writer since 1990.
