Ray McRae began his self-storage career with U-Haul in 1983. During his 15-year career with the company, he held a variety of positions, including Store Manager, Area Field Manager, AFM Program Manager, and Marketing Company President of the Chicago Metroplex.
While at U-Haul, Ray was involved in land purchases, self-storage acquisitions, due diligence, entitlements, coordination with contractors, and facility operations for company-owned moving centers and third-party managed dealerships.
Ray is the Vice President and Designated Broker of Record for Arizona Mini Storage Management Company / Storage Solutions, which he joined in 1998. Since that time, the company has doubled in size through joint ventures, third-party property management, and branding affiliations.
In April 2015, Storage Solutions became a Professional Regional Operator for National Storage Affiliates Trust, a self-storage real estate investment trust that went public through an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange in April 2015.
