The 2026 AZSA Golf Tournament Was a Success!
The 2026 Arizona Self Storage Association Golf Tournament, which was held on April 14th in Fountain Hills, was a huge success!
We would like to thank all the sponsors and guests who attended the tournament, which made it such a special day. This tournament has served as the “Kick-off” event to our annual conference for many years. This year, we did it right by partnering with Tim Emory and the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley to raise funds for a great cause. Our local community means a lot to us, and we are happy to help make a positive impact on the lives of Arizona youth, improving both their present and future situations. In cooperation with AZ Youthforce, the program builds confidence through work experiences by providing opportunities that would otherwise be unavailable. We sincerely hope that everyone who attended enjoyed the great weather and was able to network with many of our industry members and partners. Please take some time to view the amazing photos and help everyone remember the occasion. Please feel free to share with your teammates and contacts.
As the committee chairman, I would like to personally send a special thank-you to our director, Amy Amideo, and the entire golf committee, with special assistance from the Gorden Companies, for all their hard work and coordination in making the day possible. Kris Star and the Sunridge Canyon Golf Club, who hosted and donated to our cause, were great to work with for the second year in a row.
Congratulations to the winners of the tournament. John Elder and the United Structural Design team took home the 1st place plaques in back-to-back years.
My favorite part of the day each year is visiting with some of the pioneers of our industry and making new connections. One person I am always happy to pay homage to, who is no longer with us but whose name is on the tournament trophy, is Caesar Wright. The trophy bears his name because, in addition to being an avid golfer, we believe Caesar embodied the spirit that makes our association and our members such a great group of people to work with. I am already looking forward to next year's event. See you all there!
